Week 16: Continue development

This week at our weekly meeting at the MiLab we sat with Oren and Hadas and tried to draw conclusions from the first user-testings. They wanted us to understand step by step what caused the results to be as they came out and what is most necessary to check from now on. Together with them, we build a new test scenario based more on the attention drawn to the object itself.

We realised that before we jump into the area and examine the product in a vehicle, we first have to understand how we attract attention differently from the original product (cross) to which the subjects haven't noticed enough, but not to cause the driver to be distracted from the road. So we decided to switch to a laboratory experiment and test our product differently. The transition from a small cross-shaped product to the LED stripes that will be deployed on the dashboard from side to side and on half the length of the passenger’s and driver’s door (in order to always be within the driver's view). Of course, the aspiration is that in more advanced stages the system will be integrated into the vehicle's dashboard as small LED lights rather than as an external product. It should be noted that during the experiment the LED strip will be placed on the table and will simulate a Dashboard.
