Week 19- Continue development+User testing

In the last 3 weeks we did 3 different User-testing. We started in a car but quickly realised that its complected and we had to start from a basic laboratory test.

In addition, we saw that the subjects do not pay attention to our product because it is too small and does not get into their vision, especially since the lights are too weak in daylight, so we decided to make a big changes in the visibility of our product.

User testing 1

So... we removed the all user testing into the lab. We started with a video of a "regular" trip on the road in Ramat Gan, where there are stops in traffic lights, highway, etc. We gave the subjects a round tool that would be like a steering wheel. We presented the video with a lap top when the product is placed at the bottom of the keyboard at the corner of their eyes.

Throughout the experiment, we photographed the subjects' eyes in order to count the seconds it takes for subjects to return to look at the road from the moment the product is turned on (lights).

There are two different experiences: one sends messages at the same rate (the ׳disturbances׳ are on the road) and the second is that he looks at the eye movements of the subject and responds to the subject's eyes and activates the product respectively, which is distracted and does not look at the road (since the camera has not yet received eyes See below). After the experiment we reached several important conclusions.

User testing 2

We realised that it did not simulate the experience of driving in real time and from there we moved to a larger screen that would give a truer sense of driving. This week we will try to check with larger TV screen to simulate the exact proportions before moving back to a car experiment. We also tried the product only on the one side (right)- where we put the alerts, but it is important for us to check later on also the other side (left) to which the subject can look also in real time
